Love Bridge at Giverny was taken at Claude Monet's garden in Giverny, France a couple years ago. I was with my future fiancée on this excursion. She had the patience of a saint as I waited for the sun to be just right. I see this bridge photo as bringing our hearts together.

Happy Days

Blake Kern

Collage Assemblage

19” x 7”

$150

The optimist believes that the good days are ahead and keeps forward-looking.

Collage is a favorite art form for Blake’s one-of-a-kind cards, while a mixed media approach is utilized when creating her unique altered books, canvases and boxes.

She begins with an idea or sense of where she wants to go, and by the end of the process she often finds herself somewhere unexpected. Her goal is to not only evoke an emotional response, but to tell a story. “I want you to make small discoveries when you look at a card, a book, or a box – I want it to speak to you.”

Blake has been a Donor and Supporter since the beginning of  ACE and an ACE Shop Vendor since 2020.
