This artwork is inspired by motifs, colors and weaving in south Indian Kanjeevaram silk sarees that the artist combined in unique ways as an ode to the weavers of Tamil Nadu where the artist grew up. There are also vowels and consonants from the language Tamil, the artist's mother tongue.
