Handwoven Fiber, Discarded Items

62” x 16”

$900

“Near the Shore” mixes handwoven techniques with discarded items such as climbing rope, swim suits, and unraveled sweaters. It explores the feel and motion of the tides, the swirling colors found in the shallow, and the textures of flora and fauna who call it home-Garibaldi, seaweed, kelp, jellyfish.
